My laptop died on me this past month leaving me to neglect some projects unwantingly, but am back in action. Note to the millions…. and millions reading this. Be sure to get a cooling pad for your laptop, especialy if you use it a lot in bed! And stay away from VAIO’s!

Had all my music for my iTunes collection stored on my trusted Iomega external hard drive. Now, its not being recognised by by computer, so I now have the task of somehow getting all my music from my iPod back onto my computer.

I’ll report back with my findings.

Ahhhh, a glorious day. The CorkCityFC.ie domain was returned to its rightful owners, the fans.

Last week FORAS purchased the intellectual property of Cork City FC Investments Ltd, meaning the domain can now be used as we see fit.

The site that won me my second Golden Spider was re-upped today after the tedious nameserver changes went through.

The site will mainly serve as a place-holder which will redirect to CCFC’s permanent home at www.corkcityfc.net. Over the new few weeks I will be migrating all the old content, history, match reports etc over to the new site, which is a pretty big haul.

Good craic reading over some of the news stories from late November 2009. Who’d have thunk it would turn out like this. Below is a screen-grab of the site’s dying days.

Welcome to DeclanCarey.com, a small blog-type website where you’ll find postings from me, Declan Carey.

For the last few years, I’ve only used the domain “declancarey.com” for e-mail. It’s handy having your own email account/domain, I had about 10 different accounts between GMail, Hotmail and CCFC, so I had them all re-direct to one easy to remember address.

I was a bit bored so decided to make a blog website to release my “fountain” of knowledge. Or more than likely, the odd post here and there when I get even more bored.
